Humanistic Foundation, Inc. is looking for therapists to become part of a highly skilled mental health treatment team in a residential setting. We assist adolescent children and young adults to overcome their behavioral challenges and heal from the past traumas that are holding them back from reaching their goals. Our model is brief, intensive and results oriented. Under the guidance of a licensed clinical supervisor, you will be assigned a small caseload to oversee as the primary therapist. Most of our clients reside in a Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program or they have discharged and are receiving services in our Aftercare program. Very little driving is required and the caseloads are low. You will learn how to quickly and accurately assess the needs of your clients, develop a comprehensive treatment plan, and help guide the treatment provided by yourself, and a tight knit group of clinical and non-clinical staff members. This is a challenging job, but the impact that you will have on our youth, and the experience that you will gain by learning how to effectively help them, will be immeasurable in your professional and personal growth.
Qualifications
· Must be a registered licensed or associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, or Psychologist in good standing.
· Must have at least three years of experience working with troubled youth.
Responsibilities include:
· Providing mental health services to the youth on your case load and documenting those services following the standards set by the Department of Mental Health.
· Services include psychotherapy provided in individual, family, and group sessions.
· Completing Assessments, Treatment Plans, and treatment Progress Notes by the required due dates.
· Attending Child and Family Team Meetings.
· Supporting other clinical and non-clinical staff in a team setting.
· Attending mandatory trainings and meetings.
· Meeting with your assigned clinical supervisor to provide case updates and receive guidance for treatment and documentation.
