We are looking for a Scheduler to support our team at our corporate location in Independence, KY.
Summary
Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Following established processes, provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing orders to the manufacturing floor. Key objective is to achieve plant production and delivery targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands while managing capacity and resources.

Complete status reports such as production progress.

Communicate with Material Control for parts shortage resolution.

Prepare and release orders to production for assembly.

Proactively identify potential risks to production schedules and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.

Link with Customers to update order status.

Maintain work orders if bill of material is changed, ensuring correct materials are issued.

Follow up with supervisors throughout the day to ensure all orders possible ship on time.

Report system problems.

Other Duties as Assigned.
Education and/or Experience
-
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
-
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
-
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills
-
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory, work orders, and MRP systems.
