We are looking for an experienced and skilled Executive Chef with a background in Indian cuisine to lead our team at a prestigious fine dining Indian restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and appreciation for Indian flavors, spices, and cooking techniques, as well as a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and curate an authentic and innovative menu that highlights the diverse and rich flavors of Indian cuisine, as well as following our current recipes.
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure high quality and consistency in food preparation
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including inventory management, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate closely with the restaurant management team to create a cohesive dining experience that exceeds guest expectations
- Stay current with industry trends and culinary innovations in Indian cuisine, and incorporate new ideas into menu development and kitchen operations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining setting, with a focus on Indian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Creativity and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
