Position Summary:
The Multi-Family Project Manager I will manage all electrical installations, troubleshooting, delivering quality output, meeting customer expectations, managing to scope, delivering on time, and delivering within budget.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Generate high-quality work in alliance with the vision and mission of Tri-City
- Defines and clarifies project scope, sets team direction, plans, and goals to prioritize, organize and accomplish work in a timely and professional manner
- Preparation of layout and construction drawings
- Develops project schedules: assigning cost and manpower to the schedule and provide cash and manpower forecasting
- Prepare, execute and maintain complete project scope including; plans, specifications, costs, schedules and job folder
- Understands plans and specifications to identify the types and grades of materials and equipment needed to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Plan, organize and direct the procurement of materials needed for project construction using established procedures for submittal processing and subsequent material management
- Provide weekly, accurate onsite surveys of cost to complete in conjunction with lead field personnel
- Document, report and prepare information, as necessary, for all job delays/accelerations presented for cost reimbursements
- Responsible for accurate reporting on project cost using quantitative reporting, project surveying, and job cost month-end processing
- Prepare and provide, as necessary, monthly project billings, manpower requirements, and job cost analysis
- Use communication and organizational skills to coordinate, supervise, manage, or train others to accomplish goals
- Complete weekly timecards and monitor project labor productivity to keep the company informed of any deviations from the original budgets
- Develop a good dialog and communication with the team and create a healthy work environment while addressing employee relations issues on the job as needed
- Ensure all on-site personnel complies with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc. Document all violations; notify project management, recommend/implement the corrective performance of the project
- Ensure compliance with all job safety standards established by Tri-City and all regulatory agencies
- Maintain effective working relationships with vendors, owners, and internal business partners
- Keep abreast of current trends and developments in the field, read technical and trade journals, and participate in activities of professional associations

Experience and Education:
Required:
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in Residential or Multi-Family electrical construction
- Intermediate knowledge of residential electrical construction and material; including gear, fixtures, commodity items
- Experience with contract documents (contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendum, specifications, and change orders)
- Experience reading, and interpreting construction plans, specifications and applicable Local and National Electrical Code requirements
- Intermediate computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of basic mathematical operations and calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, order of operations) to calculate labor, materials, and/or cost estimates for projects and work orders, etc
- Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in the English language at a 12th-grade level
- Must possess a valid Florida Driver's license in good standing to meet the company's driving requirements
High School Diploma or GED

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites.
- This job operates in an indoor professional office or job site environment. May work outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
- Employees may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. In addition, the employee may occasionally be exposed to various extreme conditions at different work locations.
- Employees will be exposed to moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phones, printers, and light foot traffic).
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is occasionally active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day.
- Must be able to move objects that weigh 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/printers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Position Type, Expected Hours of Work, and Travel:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary but equate to 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
