Harvest Table Culinary Group at Clark University is growing! We are now hiring for a Catering Coordinator to join our team full-time! Great pay, benefits and employee programs are offered, in addition, to working with an innovative team!
The ideal candidate for the Catering Coordinator role will collaborate and provide feedback under the direction and guidance of the Catering Director to plan the execution of catering events. Must also be competent in prioritizing and work with little supervision as well as self-motivated.
Responsibilities/Duties for the Catering Coordinator:
- Completes projects in a timely and professional manner
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and venues
- Planning event details and aspects, including seating, dining and guests
- Creating reliable financial reports and collecting payments on time
- Remaining under budget with all costs
- Managing events and addressing potential problems that may arise
- Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event
- Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events
Additional requirements/skills for the Office Admin and Catering Coordinator are:
- Proven experience as an administrative experience or relevant role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Schedule management and event planning
- Vendor management
