We're currently looking for a Child and Family Services Psychologist to join the team. In this exciting role, you'll have the opportunity to work with an amazing team team as you conduct screenings and evidence-based diagnostic outpatient evaluations of children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders. You'll also collaborate and consult with medical providers, schools, and social service agencies as well as city, county, and state funding and placement agencies through oral and written presentation of clinical findings and recommendations The responsibilities are as follows:
1. Conducts diagnostic evaluations using intellectual and neuropsychological testing.
2. Measures and interprets test results. Designs protocols for monitoring the neurocognitive and emotional status of medical patient populations.
3. Conducts screenings and evidence-based diagnostic outpatient evaluations of children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Provides appropriate feedback (oral and written) to families in a timely manner.
4. Conducts DSM diagnostic evaluation of children and adolescents.
5. Collaborates and consults with medical providers, schools, and social service agencies as well as city, county, and state funding and placement agencies through oral and written presentation of clinical findings and recommendations
7. Maintains appropriate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record in a timely manner.
8. Writes letters, notes, and formal clinical reports on patient contacts. Communicates progress over the telephone and via the electronic medical record, as appropriate.
