Lake Forest Country Club is in the process of accepting applications for professional line chefs for our both our pantry and hot line with a keen eye for details, team player and professionalism. Three years of line cook experience in a club, upscale or high volume restaurant is preferred. This is a full time 40 hour a week position. Also looking for part time seasonal help with strong skill sets on the line.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
- Prepares all required items for station service;
- Serves items in accordance with established portions and presentation standards;
- Notifies Sous Chef/Executive Chef of expected shortages;
- Ensures that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary;
- Assists the Sous Chef in maintaining security and safety in the kitchen;
- Maintains neat professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness at all times;
- Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations;
- Covers, dates and neatly stores all leftover products that are re-usable;
- Maintains the highest sanitary standards;
- Assists with other duties as assigned by Sous Chef.
