Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-orientated Quality Engineer to monitor and improve all aspects of quality management. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes to meet the highest standards. Your attention to detail and ability to identify areas for improvement will be crucial in maintaining our commitment to excellence. The quality engineer’s responsibilities include designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, ensuring compliance with new and existing quality standards and regulations, implementing quality management actions, and contributing to the development of company policies and procedures
Essential Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining company inspection reports; quality management documentation.
- Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
- Ensuring goods and products comply with company standards as well as Federal and State law.
- Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
- Monitoring and analyzing quality performance collating test data and drafting quality reports and reporting quality anomalies to the supervisor/manager
- Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
- Ensuring production is not hindered by quality testing procedures.
- Monitoring and reporting on all activities, processes, and procedures.
- Developing internal auditing tools and conducting internal audits and reports.
- Determining data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans.
- Performing regular inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality and safety policies.
- Assisting with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Providing departments with quality planning and support.
- Conducting or assisting with regulatory and quality training sessions.
- Performing customer/internally driven PPAP’s, Gage R&R, SPC Studies
Standard Responsibilities:
- Update documentation, including electronic systems, with accurate, real-time, appropriate information according to established practices and procedures.
- Represent the company in a professional manner with both internal and external customers.

- Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.

- Experience drafting reports and collating data.
- Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical information
- Experience using common hand tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.

Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods of time spent standing, bending, lifting, reaching, twisting, and walking.
- Close proximity to other team members, both inside and outside of the Quality department.
- Exposure to potentially loud or distracting sounds and noise levels.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistent with safety standards of the position.
- Periodic lifting of up to 50+lbs.
