PPMI is seeking an experienced Property Manager.
SUMMARY
The Property Manager is responsible for assisting the property manager in effectively managing a portfolio of properties. In the property manager’s absence, the Property Manager will assume all responsibilities associated with accomplishing portfolio objectives as set forth. In addition, the Property Manager is directly responsible for compliance, maintaining, turning over, marketing and leasing units while maintaining harmonious resident relations. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of property management including maintenance, leasing, tenant relations, and financial operations.
- Ensure properties are well-maintained, attractive, and meet company standards.
- Manage property budgets and financial records.
- Implement and enforce lease agreements and property rules.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff to address property needs promptly.
- Utilize Appfolio software for property management tasks.
- Handle legal administrative tasks related to property management.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Resolve tenant issues and conflicts in a professional manner.
- Negotiate contracts for property services and maintenance.
- Taking care of all jobs task given by there Director
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role.
- Familiarity with legal aspects of property management.
- Proficiency in Appfolio or similar property management software.
- Strong understanding of property maintenance practices and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in property leasing and tenant relations.
- Ability to effectively manage conflicts and negotiate resolutions.
- Must have reliable transportation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Very strong organizational skills
Working Knowledge of Appfolio
Must be detail oriented, dependable, and consistent
Must be able to learn at a fast past
Must be able to use social media
Must be a people person
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
At least 4 year of professional administrative experience or high school diploma with at least 4 years' professional administrative experience. References and transcripts required
Must have 6 year of experience working with a property management company required
