We are growing and have an immediate opening for an Ophthalmic Assistant or a medical assistant who would like to specialize in Ophthalmology. We are looking for motivated applicants who can be flexible to work in a fast-paced environment, preference for candidates who are quick learners with excellent computer skills. Must be able to travel to satellite offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs pre-visit planning by reviewing and updating the patient record prior to the appointment with recent test results, consults, correspondence, etc.
- Prepares patients for examination and treatment
- Ensures effective patient flow throughout the practice, clinic
- Performs testing procedures
- Prepares set-ups for injections
- Assists provider with all examinations
32 plus hours per week. Salary is based on experience level. Get your hours in a 4 day work week! We are flexible. BASIC KNOWLEDGE: High school diploma or equivalent. A Graduate from a Medical Assistant program and or Certified Ophthalmic Assistant designation preferred but not required.
