Education Programs Coordination (50%)
Key Responsibilities:
- Document and monitor all fellowship educational activities to ensure ACGME compliance.
- Coordinate educational events, including orientations, graduations, teaching conferences, and committee meetings.
- Attend ACGME-regulated meetings, take minutes, and prepare evaluations and presentations.
- Assist with application reviews, recruitment processes, and annual ACGME updates.
- Manage fellowship recruitment, including applicant processing and interview coordination.
- Support special projects and educational activities, including event coordination and data processing.
- Handle additional projects and reporting tasks as assigned by senior management.
Administrative Support (50%)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex administrative duties with minimal supervision.
- Provide direct support to Thoracic Surgery Faculty and Senior Operations Manager.
- Solve problems, coordinate work, and follow through on issues with little direction.
- Track expense budgets, perform bookkeeping tasks, and create financial reports.
- Assist with staff training and orientation as needed.
- Provide cross-coverage and follow HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy.
- Communicate extensively with various clinical and administrative departments.
- Maintain faculty schedules, handle calls and messages, sort mail, and organize filing systems.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, medical notes, reports, and schedules.
- Coordinate meetings and ensure smooth operation of the division.
- Manage travel and housing accommodations for meetings and engagements.
- Monitor and renew surgeon’s state license and credentialing, maintain current CV information.
- Plan and manage special projects, including recruitment activities and visiting professorships.
- Handle any additional tasks as assigned by senior management.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.86 - $31.15 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
