Roles and Responsibilities
Breaktime is looking for a passionate, driven, and creative individual to serve as our Manager of Community Outreach. The Manager of Recruitment is a deeply empathetic and charismatic individual who thrives in fast-paced, ever-evolving environments. In order to serve more Young Adults, we are looking for someone who is an exceptional, detail-oriented communicator to lead Breaktime’s recruitment team. Specific responsibilities include:
Design Strategic Recruitment Plan including but not limited to:
Development of target goals and project timeline
Identification, development, and implementation of innovative recruitment practices designed to increase program enrollment
Development of operational systems and structures designed to increase enrollment
Protocols for collection and tracking of data to inform progress toward goals
Execute Recruitment Operations and Activities Aligned with the Strategic Plan
Develop new, and manage existing referral partnerships
Plan and execute information sessions and open houses for prospective Young Adults, housing providers, and case managers
Design and execute a physical and digital marketing strategy to reach recruitment targets
Work closely with the Manager of Intake and Assessments to conduct interviews, complete written assessments, and determine programmatic fit for monthly cohort starts
Manage and Train Community Outreach Coordinators
Coordinate opportunities that empower direct reports to be effective in recruiting Young Adults from target communities
Create a supportive and goal-oriented culture for the Community Outreach team
Provide reasonable goals, professional development, and evaluation for direct reports
Facilitate team meetings and check-ins
Manage the Onboarding Process for New Young Adults in the Program
Coordinate application and interview process and finalize each cohort roster prior to the start date
Assist with disseminating and collecting all relevant onboarding paperwork
Enter newly enrolled Young Adults in the Salesforce database
Collaborate with Programs team to effectively support and create a healthy and safe learning environment for Young Adults who may be experiencing significant life instability and may have experienced significant trauma
Organize and track all information relating to recruitment and intake pipeline using Salesforce and other systems
Takes initiative to innovate, launch, and rapidly iterate the ways we recruit and engage Young Adults experiencing housing insecurity
Collaborate with Programs staff, delegate work, clearly communicate goals and expectations, and provide frequent and relevant feedback
Other duties as assigned.

Supervises: Up to 3 direct reports
Job Requirements
Minimum of one year of experience working in recruitment, sales, training, or other similar roles and at least one year in a supervisory role

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional presentation skills
Superb attention to detail and organization skills
Proficiency with Google Suites, Slack, Salesforce, or other related productivity tools
Ability to regularly travel around the Greater Boston area and occasionally other areas of Massachusetts
(Preferred) Background in social work or related field preferred
(Preferred) Prior non-profit experience
(Preferred) Bilingual in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole
(Preferred) At least one year of experience working directly with Young Adults (18 to 24 years old)
(Preferred) Familiarity with the Greater Boston area and communities
(Preferred) Knowledge and experience of data analysis, impact measurement, and reporting
