The Sr. Manager of Operations – PM Shift position is a managerial level position that oversees the operational activities and daily execution of the PM shift at the Hopewell facility. This position requires a comprehensive knowledge of operational systems, policies, and procedures as well as the ability to effectively implement them. It directs a team of skilled and non-skilled professionals where safety is the main priority. It requires consistent execution of company-wide processes. The Sr. Manager of Operations – PM Shift is constantly looking for ways to improve the site and team as well as meet industry and company standards.

- Regularly coordinates with leadership in all areas of the DC to ensure business needs are met.
- Coordination with senior leadership on when and where to use site-specific customization should include central support when there is a need to deviate from enterprise standardization
- Coordinates with local Systems Support for Continuous Improvement activities, as well as system rollouts, testing, and development.
- Ensure execution of business systems reports and activities
- Deployment of staff based upon site priorities (may change with seasonal work)
- Provide SME knowledge for all aspects of Outbound, Assembly and Inbound
- Make sure that site goals, processes and activities stay in alignment with the enterprise
- Look for opportunities to continuously improve (and socialize learnings with peers at other sites)
- Full ownership of execution and identifying improvement opportunities within Operations.
- Partner with the Configurable Gift, Assembly, and Inbound planners to ensure they have a clear understanding of the processes and constraints when implementing changes to the product line.
- Ensuring H&D's high standards for food safety are met and maintained in accordance with SQF, FDA and USDA policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Communication, Management or related field preferred
- Seven to Ten years of experience in facilities/warehousing required
- Five years of experience in a managerial role located in a facility/warehouse environment required
- Strong technical aptitude and knowledge of operational systems
- Excellent people management and communication skills
- Experience in ERP and WMS systems are required
- Experience with WES (warehouse execution system) is highly preferred
- Experience with Oracle, Logfire (newly named Oracle WMS Cloud), SAP, and/or New Dawn (WES) are a plus.
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of operational activities and systems knowledge
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours a day.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- Ability work effectively in team and / or alone as needed.
- Keying/typing, sitting, standing, walking.
- Constant mental and/or visual attention; the flow of work requires focused, detailed attention.
- Compliance with company attendance standards. Work hours may vary during peak production cycles.
