Base Hours: Sunday-Thursday nights, 11pm-7am
As a Warehouse Supervisor 3rd Shift, you will:
- Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate direct reports by demonstrating role model behavior.
- Plans and directs department activities across the whole building
- Establish priorities, productivity, and quality standards as directed by leadership
- Maintain a safe, effective, and efficient operations taking into account cost factors, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Promote safety, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Set goals for direct reports and motivate employees to achieve their goals.
- Conduct performance reviews for direct reports and provide appropriate feedback in a timely manner. Implement corrective action measures to effectively resolve direct reports performance issues.
- Understand our warehouse management system (Logistics PRO) and productivity system (Easy Metrics) to utilize their features to support the operations and drive performance.
- Work to develop enhancements which improve performance/quality of operations and establish procedures for successful implementation.
- Ensure that equipment is operated in a safe manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in related field or role with 5-7 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
- Must be able to consistently identify critical elements, variables, and alternatives to develop solutions. Must be able to organize/prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information, as needed, to implement the most effective solutions.
- Able to communicate clearly and courteously with those who need to know of decisions/actions/problems.
- Able to apply excellent functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, or other technical tools in completing assignments.
