Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operation
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify the supervisor when items need to be restocked
- Adhere to all dietary restrictions and special requests from customers
- Assist with catering events as needed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Proficient knife skills for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
