Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and personable individual to join our team as a receptionist. As the first point of contact for our center, the receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for visitors, clients, and staff members alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase exceptional communication skills, provide top-notch customer service, and contribute to the smooth operation of our front desk and administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting Visitors: Welcoming visitors and patients in a friendly and professional manner as they arrive at the office or facility.
- Answering the Phone: Handling incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate personnel, taking messages, and providing basic information to callers.
- Scheduling: Managing appointments, meetings, and reservations for patients or staff.
- Customer Service: Providing assistance and information to patients.
- Mail Handling: Sorting and distributing incoming mail, packages, and deliveries. May also assist with outgoing mail and packages, including postage and shipping arrangements.
- Administrative Support: Assisting with various administrative tasks such as typing, filing, photocopying, data entry, and maintaining records.
- Maintaining Reception Area: Keeping the reception area tidy and presentable, including organizing reading materials and ensuring that promotional materials are up to date.
- Handling Emergencies: Reacting calmly and efficiently in emergency situations, such as medical emergencies or building evacuations, and following established protocols.
- Communication: Serving as a liaison between patients, visitors, and staff members by relaying messages, requests, or important information accurately and promptly.
- Technology Proficiency: Operating office equipment such as computers, printers, fax machines, and phone systems. Basic troubleshooting of technical issues may also be required.
- Team Collaboration: Cooperating with other administrative and clinical staff to ensure smooth operations and provide backup support when needed.
- Adherence to Policies: Following company policies and procedures related to patient relations, security, confidentiality, and other relevant areas.

Required Skills/Education
- High School Diploma (College Experience/Degree a Plus)
- Bilingual Spanish/English Preferred
- Previous Customer Service, Front Desk, Secretary or Receptionist Experience Preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
