BASIC FUNCTION and RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position of the Window and Door Regional Sales Manager is to provide support to existing customers as well as prospect and secure new customers.
Spend the majority of time in the region supporting the customer’s manufacturing and sales efforts, as well as prospecting and securing new business within the region.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
- Regional Sales Manager reports to the VP Sales and Marketing
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 Years of B2B Sales and Marketing Experience (preferred building products industry experience)
- 4-year College Degree (preferred Sales or Marketing)
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
- Positive attitude, excellent organizational and communication skills.
Tasks and responsibilities of the position:
· Timely submittal of weekly and monthly sales reports.
· Keep up to date with travel schedule.
· Be responsible for company property and finances.
· Maintain relationships with existing customers.
o Assist customer in adding products to existing offering.
o Visit and communicate on a regular basis.
o Be the key contact regarding customer issues. Be the conduit between customer and internal resources to communicate and resolve issues.
· Assist in development quarterly forecast and annual revenue budget for region.
· Participate in conference calls and sales meetings.
· Participate in industry tradeshows.
· Responsible for contacting and developing relationships with prospects in the region with the goal of securing them as a CBP customer.
· Keep CBP senior management informed of customer/prospect issues.
· Report competitive information in the region back to Oakmont.
· Clear understanding of company policies and procedures.
· Create and maintain relationship with internal functions at CBP
COMPENSATION AND MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE:
The following will be used to evaluate and compensate the performance of the Regional Sales Manager:
- Annual base salary
