Additional estimated potential earnings included in the wage $27.16 consist of: Guaranteed overtime, a quarterly profit sharing bonus, an automatic 3% 401K Safe Harbor of gross wages, 1% 401K company match, and our robust benefit offerings.

Job Description: Production Labor – Grade 1
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Job Summary:
Operates and/or completes tasks related to the following production operations: Clean
Up, Heat Treat Line Loading, Heat Treat line Unload, Heat Treat Line Pull, Box Stack,
Hang and Paint, Assembly, & Grinding.
General Job Duties:
Provides production labor towards assigned work areas.
Follows established company policies and procedures
Communicates effectively both in written and verbal forms
Works in a safe manner
Focus on a “Team” concept
Good attendance
Specific Job Duties:
Focus on achieving company production standards
Comply with Haven Steel’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
Communicates performance improvement ideas to supervisory staff
Participate in specific job training activities to ensure effective performance
Completes timely first part and hourly quality audits
Provide and assist with production set up activities
Physical Job Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lb., sometimes repetitively throughout the duration of the shift
Must be able to reach overhead, work in stooping, kneeling, and standing positions
Must be able to perform pushing, pulling, bending and climbing activities using hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, back and legs
Must have dexterous use of both hands
Must have good corrected vision
Must be able to work in above average temperatures (100 + degrees)
Position Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED Preferred
Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:
Ability to work with minimum supervision after receiving job instructions
Effective communicator/verbal and written/ fosters open communication
A positive and respectful attitude is required
Ability to learn manufacturing operations, procedures, and technology
Ability to perform required physical activities
Recommend Corrective Actions to insure the meeting of production goals
