Position mission:
This position is responsible for the successful day to day operations of an active jobsite. The project manager will work hands on with the owners, engineers, project manager, and sub-contractors by attending meetings and anticipating the needs of the job to ensure timely production and completion of the job.

Major Duties:
- After project is a probable award, the PM is responsible for the timely transition of information regarding the job and bid from the estimator
- Responsible for the writing purchase orders, subcontracts, and acquiring and scheduling all permanent and temporary material deliveries in a timely manner
- Develops project schedule using the knowledge and resources of the estimator and job site superintendent. Updates schedule once per month.
- After the project begins, visit the site at least once or twice per month (or more if needed).
- Help maintain a positive jobsite attitude including the goal of completion on time. Gives service to the crew in areas of special material/equipment/services needed.
- Responsible and accountable for maintaining schedule, ensuring safe practices on jobsite, caring for and maintaining equipment, obtaining timely delivery of materials, communicating advance notification of subcontractors, and modifying crew mix as required.
- Maintain good working relationship between BRB And the engineer, owner and subcontractors.
- Seek timely approval of all materials; if there is a problem developing, set up meetings between the engineer, owner, supplier and BRB for prompt settlement.
- Promptly notify the Human Resources Manager of any accidents or other claims as soon as they become known.
- Promptly notify the equipment manager of any equipment deficiencies or property damage (within a day).
- Prepare progress estimates and obtain timely payments from the owner, at least monthly (more if able to).
- Give accounting department up to date information on contract amounts or changes, revised job cost estimates and claims at least once monthly.
- Represents the company and job at all pre-construction, progress, and final job meetings.
- Continuously improve quality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Technical training or a degree in construction workeragement
- 5+ years of construction experience required
- 3+ years of water and wastewater experience preferred
- Detail oriented
- Deadline driven
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
