Provide acquisition support services consisting of all aspects of the Financial Assistance process from pre-federal award requirements to post-federal award requirements in accordance with 2 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 200 Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards; 2 CFR 1402 Financial Assistance Interior Regulation, Supplementing Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards; and applicable regulations and policies.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience in financial assistance management is required to aid and assist in all phases of the financial assistance management process. Substitutions Authorized: Combination of education in a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience.

The Contractor personnel shall have familiarity and working knowledge of:
-
Laws, regulations, rules, policies, procedures, and methods governing the administration of federal financial assistance awards;

Financial assistance management processes and techniques consistent with sound business and industry practices; and
-
Financial methods, procedures, and practices to assess the financial stability of recipient of financial assistance awards.
The experience shall demonstrate the ability to:

Perform typical duties under close supervision per instructions and pre-established guidelines.

Assist in solving non-complex financial assistance accounting and financial problems.

Research and compile statistics and data, as required.
-
Support the appropriate use of funds.

Create, monitor, and maintain audit files for program compliance.
-
Document, record, and administer related performance per the regulations and requirements.

Demonstrate experience performing administrative business, policy, and analytical work as required.

Prepare concise, unambiguous documents using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Adobe for various documents to include Memorandums for Record (MFR), and Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) to support the entire lifecycle for financial assistance awards.

Be proficient in oral and written communication and customer service skills to build relationships with a wide range of internal and external clients and stakeholders.
