Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for the company and will provide administrative support for several areas. In addition to greeting customers over the phone, you will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure the responsibilities are delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Duties:
- Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls using proper phone etiquette
- Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate projects and assist with project management tasks
- Manage office tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in computerized systems for data entry and office management
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and staff
- Computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in a medical office or similar setting is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to manage incoming calls effectively
- Experience in clerical duties such as filing, copying, and organizing paperwork
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills for managing office tasks efficiently
- Project coordination skills to assist in managing various projects
