Position Description:
This position involves the development and execution of software validation suites for both supplier-delivered low-level drivers and OEM-developed high-level drivers in Powertrain Control Modules.
Deliverables:
- Gather unit level requirements for base function of each low-level and high-level driver
- Develop and update test cases for base function of each low-level and high-level driver
- Execute and verify test cases in the Ford software lab in either an open-loop or HIL environment
Skills Required:
- 2+ years of Powertrain software validation experience
- Strong ANSI C software design/development/validation skills
- 10+ years experience in testing and debugging automotive embedded systems software
- Working knowledge of Lauterbach debugger and Clearcase
Education Required:
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
