We’re looking for an organized, cheerful and efficient go-getter to join our public-facing Front Office Team!
Our ideal Community Engagement Coordinator is someone who loves cats, enjoys interacting with all sorts of people, thinks outside the box and believes in FixNation’s compassionate Trap-Neuter-Return mission.
In this key administrative role, you will be responsible for booking numerous appointments, answering busy phone lines and responding to emails in a friendly and timely manner. We run a tight ship with a small, talented and dedicated staff, with super-specialized veterinarians who can each spay/neuter 50+ cats a day.
As FixNation’s Community Engagement Coordinator, your duties will include:
· Serving as FixNation’s main point of contact with the general public and local animal rescues
· Booking a large number of daily surgery appointments via the clinic’s software program
· Processing online TNR and trap applications
· Responding to a high volume of emails and phone calls
· Working closely with our Executive Director, TNR Trainer, Practice Manager and other clinic staff

· Excellent written and verbal communication
· Time management skills
· Familiar with Google Drive, Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
· Able to creatively resolve problems and handle complaints with a smile
· Typing speed 60+ wpm

As with any busy nonprofit, FixNation staff members must be willing to take on various duties beyond those listed above, as we all depend on each other to help out whenever and wherever needed.
