Pivotal Pediatric Therapy is looking for a fun, play-based occupational therapist to see clients in their homes in Oswego area and surrounding suburbs.
Duties:
- Assess patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to patients with various conditions, including but not limited to: neurological disorders, musculoskeletal injuries, developmental delays, and mental health issues
- Help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and tasks, such as dressing, bathing, eating, and using assistive devices
- Teach patients techniques to improve their strength, coordination, balance, and mobility
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and interventions
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy practices
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid Illinois state license as an Occupational Therapist
-Traveling to client's homes for therapy
-Evening and/or weekend availability
-Must obtain personal professional liability insurance
- Specialization or experience in pediatrics
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective patient service
- Ability to work independently

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 10 per week
