Position Summary: The Human Resources Manager works closely with the Chief Human Resources & Compliance Officer (CHRCO) to manage all Human Resources systems, handle employee relations, support and recommend DEI initiatives, ensure compliance, manage the daily HR Department tasks and staffing, assess organizational staffing needs, and oversee the new hire process.
Duties and Responsibilities

Review and make recommendations for the improvement of human resources policies, procedures, and practices

Cultivate a supportive and inclusive work environment for all our employees

Ensure organizational compliance with Federal, State, County, and City legislation

Audit personnel records of employees and changes to the payroll system

Coordinate and manage the annual performancer review process

Provide presentations and training to management staff

Develop recruitment and retention plans for all levels of staff

Establish strong working relationships with all staff and to communicate effectively

Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with all staff, trainees, and patients at all times

Demonstrate respect and sensitivity for cultural diversity, gender differences, and sexual orientation of patients and coworkers

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience, or Licensure

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or another related field required, with a Master's degreen in Human Resources or a related field being preferred

Minimum 5-7 years of Human Resources experience is required. Preference given to individuals with prior Human Resources Management experience

Strong preference for 3-5 years of experience within a healthcare environment, preferably in primary care, especially the FQHC environment

Prior expereince with HRIS required and demonstrated ability to implement processes that reduce redundancies
