Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will provide primary care services to patients of all ages, promoting health and wellness within the community. Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose and treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies
- Administer medications, injections, and immunizations
- Perform procedures such as venipuncture, sterile processing, and inhalation therapy
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, management of chronic conditions, and overall health promotion
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems for medical documentation and case management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care
Experience:
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in primary care or a related field
- Proficient in ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis and billing purposes
- Strong knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and evidence-based practice guidelines
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical records (EMR) system is preferred
- Familiarity with botulinum toxin treatment is a plus
