Our Mission:
The mission of Olivet Academy is to glorify God by guiding students to the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by presenting a Christ-centered worldview through proper biblical integration. The school seeks to promote spiritual growth, pursue academic excellence, and encourage Christlike character development in order to raise global Christian leaders.
Qualification:
The teachers are the educational facilitators of the Olivet Academy.
Working under the direction of the Principal, the teacher is responsible for implementing the curriculum and pedagogical design of the class.
S/he reports directly to the Principal who evaluates the effectiveness of the teacher’s work. The teacher oversees the day-to-day activities of the classroom and is the first point of contact for students and parents.
The ideal candidate will be fully dedicated to the mission of Olivet, and committed to keeping the academic and personal success of our students as a core focus.
- Be in agreement with the mission statement, policies, Statement of Faith, the Philosophy and the conditions of employment designed for Olivet.
- Be of good moral character as evidenced by appropriate references.
- Be of good health so as to be able to properly assist, serve and care for students on campus.
- Hold at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Be formally interviewed and approved by the direct supervisor and the parents committee.
- Middle school teachers of core subjects (English, math, science and history) are preferred to hold a bachelor’s degree for the core subject (or a discipline closely related). Teachers of non-core subjects are exempt from this qualification.
- Consideration may be given to such factors as: second major and minor, commitment to mission, academic record, training, experience, communication, knowledge of student development and attitude.

- Salary amount based on experience and degree
