Description:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly financial reports. Will be required to
reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data as necessary.
NOTE: The Company agrees that this position is eligible to work from home upon Supervisor and HR approval.
Requirements:

Complete monthly recurring journal entries, as well as manual postings.

Assist in reviewing proper GL and profit center coding for accounts payable invoices.

Analyze and maintain P&L information for all companies.

Monthly review of various accrual and tax entries and bank reconciliations.

Main point of contact for setting up new capital expenditure related projects.

Assist in providing explanations for all significant month to month deviations in profit centers.

Assist with preparation of information/data for external auditors in the annual audit of the financial records.

Monitor Balance Sheet Accounts and update reports for accruals and prepaid accounts.

Process recurring journal entries for accruals and prepaid accounts.
Skills and Attributes:

SAP experience required.

Self-starter and motivator.

Advanced EXCEL skills required. A strong knowledge of database software is a plus.

Must be able to effectively communicate pertinent information to all levels of the organization.

Must be able to respond promptly to customer needs and requests for information.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.

Ability to write reports and general business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group of managers and or customers.

Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Must have good reasoning and Math skills.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where standardization is limited.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. MBA preferred.
5 or more years' experience in a financial role in a manufacturing / production organization with costing experience is preferred.
Safety and Personal Protective Equipment:
Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location. Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.
