Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks according to dealership standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Conduct powertrain repairs, including engine, transmission, and drivetrain systems
- Perform routine automotive service tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair recommendations
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and service techniques
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using advanced tools and equipment
- Experience with auto estimating software is a plus
- Remove and install transmission and engine components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose complex vehicle issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs and maintenance
- Customer service-oriented mindset to provide exceptional service experience
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an automotive technician training program is preferred
- ASE certifications are a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
