As an Entry-Level Technician, you will perform the pre-delivery inspections of new vehicles and install accessories while conducting light mechanical duties.
Salary Overview:
The pay rate for this role starts at $20 per hour based on experience.
Entry-Level Technician Responsibilities Include:
- Follow pre-delivery inspection forms on all vehicles.
- Install accessories when required on vehicles.
- Conduct vehicle inspections outlined outside of the PDI form when required per vehicle.
- Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.
Entry-Level Technician Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to pass the drug screen and background check.
- Consistent work history and attendance record.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle tools and torque specs.
- Knowledge/Experience with hoisting a vehicle.
- Ability to lift and move accessory parts, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and understand a service manual and procedures.
