An Apple Systems Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining Apple hardware and software within an organization. They ensure the optimal performance, security, and reliability of macOS and iOS devices. The Apple Systems Engineer handles system configurations, software updates, troubleshooting, and user support for Apple products.
Required Certification
- Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) certification or equivalent.
Years of Experience
- At least two (2) years of experience administering and maintaining Apple software, hardware and in systems engineering or a related field, specifically with Apple products and technologies.
Required Skills
- Apple Hardware and Software: Expertise in managing and troubleshooting macOS and iOS devices.
- System Administration: Proficiency in system administration for Apple environments, including device configuration and management.
- Security: Knowledge of security best practices for Apple systems.
- Networking: Understanding of network configurations and protocols related to Apple devices.
- Software Deployment: Experience with software deployment tools such as Jamf.
- Scripting: Skills in scripting (e.g., Bash, AppleScript) to automate tasks.
- Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- User Support: Ability to provide support and training to end-users for Apple products.
- Documentation: Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation for Apple systems.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Project Management: Ability to manage Apple-related projects and coordinate with IT teams.
Functional Responsibilities
- Proficiency in Apple operating systems, including macOS and iOS.
- Familiarity with Apple hardware, including Mac computers and mobile devices PCs (Macs), tablets (iPADs), notebooks and laptops.
- Experience in managing Apple servers and services, such as macOS Server.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
