Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team. As an ABA Therapist, you will work with children with autism or developmental disabilities to provide behavioral therapy and implement behavior plans written by a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Conduct direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients
- Use applied behavior analysis techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
- Collect data on client progress and behavior
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistent implementation of treatment plans
- Provide support and guidance to parents and caregivers
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Complete session notes in a timely manner
Skills:
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and techniques
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) and its application in therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide patient care with empathy and compassion
- Proficient in data collection and analysis
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, behavioral science, human development, or related field (preferred)
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
