Labor Source has immediate openings for General Laborers in the Commercial Construction Industry!
For consideration, we ask for all General Labor applicants to submit a resume and/or work history detailing your employment over the last three years or have relevancy in Commercial Construction.
All General Labor candidates must be able to provide proper identification as we are an E-verify/EOE.
Job Duties include, but not limited to:
- Moving materials
- Clean work sites
- Move construction or extraction materials to locations where they are needed
- Load or unload materials used in construction or extraction
- Mark reference points on construction materials
- Measure work site dimensions
- Mix substances or compounds needed for work activities
- Operate pumps or compressors
- Compact materials to create level bases
- Dig holes or trenches
- Pour materials into or on designated areas
- Spread aggregate mixtures
- Assemble temporary structures
- Assist skilled construction or extraction personnel
- Dismantle temporary structures
- Clean equipment or facilities
- Maintain construction tools
- Apply sealants or other protective coatings
- Clean surfaces in preparation for work activities
- Break up rock, asphalt, or concrete
- Protect structures or surfaces near work areas to avoid damage
- Remove worn, damaged or outdated materials from work areas
- Install insulation in structures
- Prepare hazardous waste for processing or disposal
- Other tasks as assigned
Job Conditions and Requirements include but not limited to:
- Wear Safety Equipment such as Safety Shoes, Glasses, Gloves, Hearing Protection or Hard Hats as required (we provide glasses, gloves, vest and hard hat)

- Compliance with attendance policiesResponsibilities:
- Perform various tasks on construction sites as directed by the supervisor- Assist with the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls- Help with drywall installation and finishing- Assist in construction estimating by providing input on materials and labor requirements- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently- Assist with frame carpentry, including measuring, cutting, and installing framing components- Assist with electrical work under the supervision of a licensed electrician- Help with trim carpentry, including installing baseboards, crown molding, and door casings- Assist with roof installation and repair- Aid in door hanging and installation- Assist in the restoration of buildings or structures
Skills:
- Experience in hardscape installation is preferred
- Knowledge of drywall installation techniques
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment
- Basic understanding of frame carpentry techniques
- Basic knowledge of electrical work under supervision
- Ability to perform trim carpentry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Understanding of roof installation and repair processes
- Experience in door hanging and installation is a plus

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
