Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing ongoing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and change-over actions for the production line and assembly equipment, minimizing down and damaged products or lost products.
Weekend Shift (Friday - Sunday) Hours: 4:30 am - 5:30 pm (+$3.00/hr Shift Premium)
This is what you will do:
- Complete all preventative maintenance for assigned production line or equipment, clean, lubricate, and adjust components and machinery.
- Complete required production line setups with minimal follow-up in an expeditious manner.
- Comply with all company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety rules, and attend company-scheduled training sessions.
- Perform troubleshooting actions and devise appropriate solutions.
- Identify appropriate measures to prevent reoccurring or future equipment issues.
- Suggest recommendations for changeover, operational, quality, and efficiency improvements.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures to include (but not limited to) proper lock-out/tag-out requirements.
- Monitor all adjustments, speeds, and moving components during operational runs.
- Report problems, hazards, concerns, operator errors, and related issues to the Production or Maintenance Supervisor as needed.
- Maintain company maintenance records and tools/equipment in good condition and complete all required documentation timely and accurate.
- Maintain the Maintenance Shop and associated workstations in a neat and orderly manner.
- Communicate effectively with peers, leaders, and cross-functional team members.
- Perform work on-site.
- Perform other duties as required.
This is what you will need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Advanced trade school or equivalent experience preferred).
- Advanced technical aptitude and machine operation skills.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Ability to inspect work and make quality control decisions.
- Ability to use accurate weights and measurement equipment (in metrics).
- Ability to competently read, write, and speak English (Bi-lingual is a plus)
- Ability to maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- Data entry skills and functional understanding of RF Guns. (Preferred)
- Advanced vocational training. (Preferred)
