Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Substance Abuse Psychotherapist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will provide counseling and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse disorders, mental health disabilities, and experiencing homelessness, helping them on their path to live a better life.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide counseling using various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing
- Assist clients in developing coping strategies and life skills to overcome addiction
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with medical documentation standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other support services to ensure comprehensive care
- Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- State licensure or certification as a LMSW, LCSW
- Experience in behavior management, case management, and applied behavior analysis
- Proficiency in patient care, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention techniques
- Strong data collection and analytical skills for tracking client progress
- Knowledge of medical records management and confidentiality protocols
Schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, 8-5 (could work later), weekends as needed.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
