Family owned construction company in the Denver Metro area seeks a qualified sub-contractor to independently perform small-medium construction projects. Projects are coordinated and scheduled by office and job scopes provided to candidate prior to job start. Typical working hours are between 8-8:30 A.M. & 4-5 P.M. (varying based upon completed work that day and subcontractor's personal scheduling). Monday through Friday, with the possibility of weekend work available at your choosing.
Typical projects are water damage reconstruction or light remodeling. Job requirements include:
-Business LLC or INC.
-Construction General Liability Insurance.
-Own transportation & tools/equipment.
-Drywall installation, patching and repairing.
-Drywall texture matching, priming and painting.
-Base board trim installation and finishing.
-Insulation installation.
-Pre-engineered hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank, and tile floor installation.
-Sub-floor repair/replacement.
-Carpet pad installation/carpet re-stretch.
-Vanity/toilet installation and reset.
-Shower surround tile installation and finishing.
-Cabinet installation/staining.
-Light carpentry, plumbing, and occasional electrical work (i.e. moving drain lines, installing light fixtures, repairing cabinets, etc.).
Candidates must have their own transportation, tools and equipment, business entity and insurance. All materials provided. In some instances, materials delivered to job site. In most cases, contractor will obtain materials purchased by company.
Must be reliable, on time, respectful of homeowner's space (mostly residential work) and a motivated self-starter. I hated being micro-managed; therefore I won't do the same to you.
