Job Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the overall maintenance operation of the facility. Assures that the functioning of the maintenance department and facility meets state and federal regulatory standards, as well as follows the policies of the facility
Qualifications:
- Must have experience necessary to accomplish the job.
- Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with other employees.
- Related experience at a level necessary to accomplish this job.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintains all maintenance logs required by state regulations
Maintains all equipment, applicances, machinery, lawn/landscaping, etc.
Physical and Sensory Requirements (with reasonable accommodations):
- Must be able to walk, reaching, bending, lifting at least 50 pounds, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing, pulling, ability to distinguish smell, taste, temperature, ability to read, write, and ability to remain calm under stress. Must be able to communicate with residents, personnel, and have the ability to understand and apply training and in-service education.
