Donovan Air, Electric, and Pluming is currently seeking residential HVAC Lead Installers to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Installers serve the customers by educating them on the available product options, removing and replacing HVAC equipment as well as installing add-on accessories when needed while providing exceptional customer service at ALL times by treating customers with the utmost respect and attention. This position will work with an emphasis on quality of work, performed efficiently and following all applicable local and national codes.

This is an hourly plus commission opportunity.
Responsibilities:
What Will I Do?
-
Install/Replace residential HVAC equipment including, but not limited to: ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits (gas or heat pump), rooftop package units (gas or heat pump)

Design Duct Systems for Optimal Comfort and Efficiency
- Increase customer loyalty by maintaining a clean working area
-
Educate and offer the customer appropriate upgrades that you can complete immediately or at scheduled time

Engage in conversation with the homeowner to uncover any concern or interests regarding their AC, plumbing or electrical systems

Understand company pricing program and generate appropriate customer invoices and other paperwork at the job site and electronically process credit card payments

Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects

Document work completed with before and after photos

Demonstrate Safe working practices and methods

Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers

Maintain good working order of company vehicle

Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.

Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer

Participate in company-provided training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies.

Work with apprentices to coach and mentor
Qualifications:
Do I have What it Takes?
The following is REQUIRED for consideration:

Minimum of 2 years residential hvac install experience with knowledge in refrigeration function and theory, the ability to diagnose and perform replacement of HVAC related components such as Air Conditioners & Heat Pumps, Furnaces & Air Handlers, Duct Work & Zone Systems, Thermostats, Air Filters/filtration Systems, Low and high voltage wiring in a residential setting.
- Type II EPA Certification

Minimum Tool Requirements: Basic Hand Tools- wrenches, screwdriver/nut drives, sheet metal/duct tools, and hammer.

Knowledge of Minimum Testing Equipment usage: Refrigerant Gauges, Manometer, Magnahelic, C/O Detector, Psychrometer, and Micron Gauge

Working knowledge of city codes
- Integrity and the ability to promote a positive company image

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks on a daily basis

Results driven in a high-energy environment

Detail oriented with good time management skills

Can lift, carry, and maneuver a minimum of 75 pounds without additional manpower or appropriate device

Must be able to work in the outside elements of heat and cold safely and on ladders and/or roofs medium to high heights

Maintain well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes

Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time

Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
