Position Title: BCBA
Location: Hagerstown, MD, and surrounding areas
Overview: Adaptive Teaching & Learning Autism Services is dedicated to empowering children diagnosed with autism to achieve their full potential. We are seeking qualified professionals who are passionate about providing adaptive services to children with autism.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments for individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Supervise behavioral therapy services provided by Registered Behavior Technicians, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Conduct parent/caregiver training and progress review meetings.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Work Environment:
- Majority of sessions will take place within a center environment.
- Some sessions may occur in clients' homes, schools, or community settings as needed.
- Services aim to target communication, social skills, generalization of skills, and the development of appropriate behaviors across all environments.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).
- Licensed as a Behavior Analyst in the state of Maryland.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
- In-depth knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy methodologies and strategies.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments using standardized tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members in a professional manner.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping.

Pay: $86,183.00 - $91,016.00 per year
