Front Desk Receptionist
Overview:
At Motion Fitness, our culture is all about promoting community, health, and ensuring that every client’s journey includes a touch of fun and positivity. Aside from providing our clients with a unique and engaging workout, we provide our clients with the highest level of client experience. As a Front Desk employee you are the first point of contact with our guests and the support system behind the services that we offer. We expect that our Front Desk staff greets each client (by name) with a warm, positive, and energetic greeting. In addition, our Front Desk employees are expected to provide our clients and trainers with support during the workout, uphold the presentation of all common spaces at all times, and maintain the values of movement, music, and community at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Provide the highest quality of client service and experience to all clients.
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Accurately check in all clients using Mindbody.
- Answer and direct phone calls accurately and efficiently.
- Manage client accounts and payments using Mindbody.
- Assist clients in scheduling or adjusting classes and appointments.
- Assist clients and trainers throughout the workout (client organization, equipment assistance, client encouragement, maintenance of equipment organization, etc).
- Set up, organize, and take down fitness equipment.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of all common areas and equipment storage.
- Maintain the function and cleanliness of cold plunge and saunas.
- Film classes for our social media platform.
Experience:
Previous experience in a fitness-related receptionist role or similar position.
- Must be client experience focused and driven.
- Must have excellent listening and communication skills.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment.
- Proficient in front desk operations and customer service.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
