Honolulu Cookie Company, has an opening for a Graphic Designer in the Product Management department. You will be part of the team that is responsible for designing and executing the world-class packaging designs. Other responsibilities include digital and print content for product launches, targeting various demographics and markets. The main goal will be to clearly communicate and adhere to the company’s brand identity and objectives.

· Conceptualizes and creates mockups for packaging development as well as graphics to support product launches.
· Produces compelling, effective graphics and other creatives, ensuring all work consistently meets project objectives and established brand standards and guidelines.
· Photo retouches images from photo shoots and distributes finalized images.
· Creates and distributes graphics and art files for product marketing efforts, including but not limited to retail print and digital signage, graphics for window displays, website features, email blasts, and digital product ads.
· Works collaboratively with team as well as other departments on product launch planning to ensure a cohesive and effective execution.
· Prepares for photo shoots by providing mock-ups based on product launch plan and shot list, prepping/carving cookies, and assisting with sourcing and obtaining props/visuals.
· Assists with preparing and proofing packaging art files.
· Creates and maintains Manufacturing Product Matrices for products. Submits and reviews with Manufacturing/Production team prior to initial production to ensure product is produced correctly and to specification.
· Works effectively with internal teams as well as vendors and partners to ensure projects are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
· Able to work independently to ensure all projects are on track and completed within deadlines. Provides regular updates and status on projects and communicates any delays or issues effectively and in a timely manner.
· Sources and obtains various props, visuals, materials, etc. needed for projects.
· Presents design work at various stages for review, feedback, and final approval.
· Understands objectives and completes projects ensuring objectives are met while working within budget constraints.
· Performs administrative tasks including but not limited to researching and collecting information, communicating with vendors and partners, scheduling meetings, and other clerical duties.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· College degree with an emphasis in Graphic Design
· 2-3 years of experience in graphic design or related field preferred
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
· Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
· Basic photography experience preferred

· Able to sit or stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shift
· Able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
