TOUR 2: (9am-5pm)
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To support and advocate for consumers during the assessment of a crisis situation.

Mobile Crisis Program
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Uses personal experience as a mental health consumer in role modeling recovery and providing hope for other consumers.
2. Engages consumers and helps motivate them to set goals for their health and well-being.
3. Assists consumers in seeking clarification about the treatment and recovery process.
4. Promotes wellness and recovery by assisting consumers, in an individual or group setting, to identify their strengths and goals and to promote the notion of empowerment.
5. Gathers information from consumers and helps plan the next level of care.
6. Collaborates with other treatment team members to provide advocacy, referral and linkage for consumers seeking various community resources and benefits.
7. Documents in accordance with program and department of social work requirements.
8. Participates in assigned supervision.
