The Brooklyn Italians Youth Soccer Club was founded in 1949 by Italian immigrants who settled in Brooklyn after World War II. While the club was founded by Italian immigrants, its history includes all immigrants that came to NYC with dreams of a better life regardless of which corner of the globe they migrated from and had one thing in common – The Beautiful Game. Brooklyn Italians Soccer Club is organized as a 501 c(3) not for profit entity to educate, inspire and promote the development of high quality soccer players in the Brooklyn community. It is an official NY Red Bulls Affiliate club and the sole affiliate in the borough. Our mission since 1949 has been to foster a soccer community that reflects the diversity of Brooklyn, New York. To provide children of all backgrounds, from our youngest players in Scuola Calcio, to competitive boys and girls travel teams an opportunity to develop their passion for the beautiful game and realize their full potential as both players and young adults in NYC’s most populous borough.
