Position Overview: As the Operations Director for a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Residential Clinical Services Unit (RCSU) and Behavioral Health Support Organization (BHSO) in Berea, Kentucky, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the facility. Your primary focus will be to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of comprehensive treatment and support services to individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders and related behavioral health conditions. You will provide leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to optimize facility performance and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless integration of operational and clinical services.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and employee engagement.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with community stakeholders, agencies, and referral sources.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory standards, licensing requirements, and accreditation guidelines.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, address findings, and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated on changes in policies, regulations, and best practices in substance use disorder treatment and behavioral health.
- Promote ethical practice, privacy, and confidentiality in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Resource Management:
- Manage the facility's resources, including staffing, budgeting, and procurement, to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and monitor the annual budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and cost-effective practices.
- Collaborate with the finance department to prepare financial reports, invoices, and documentation as needed.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations to identify operational strengths, areas for improvement, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to develop and monitor performance metrics and benchmarks.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the facility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare administration, business management, or a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a substance use disorder treatment setting or behavioral health organization.
- Strong knowledge of substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and relevant treatment modalities.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations governing substance use disorder treatment and behavioral health services.
- Excellent organizational and operational management skills, including resource allocation and staff oversight.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, clients, families, and community partners.
- Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, and implement strategies for improvement.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
