SEG, Inc., an established Construction and Engineering firm headquartered in Hamilton, Virginia is currently seeking a Project Manager. Applicant should be self-motivated, have a strong desire to learn, and be willing to take on new challenges. Successful candidates should be able to:
Responsibilities:
· Manage all aspects of construction project from estimating to close-out
· Allocate resources for assigned projects
· Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
· Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
· Work together with superintendents to maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical) or Construction Management
· 5-10 years’ experience in commercial construction project management
· Government Contracting experience
· Strong leadership qualities
· Strong negotiation skills
· Deadline and detail-oriented
· Strong computer skills and high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
