How do you fit in?
The cost accountant is responsible for the ongoing analysis of manufacturing constraints, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities. In addition, the cost accountant will be responsible for the ongoing monitoring of manufacturing and inventory variances.
Do you have what it takes?
- B.S./B.A. in Finance and/or Accounting
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Inventory/Cost Accountant
- Flexible and able to work hours needed to meet project deadlines
- Good analytical skills, ability to work independently
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft office suite
- Previous experience working with ERP Systems, DELMIAworks (previously IQMS) a plus.
- Capability to solve complex problems, utilizing strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to assemble resources needed to orchestrate multiple projects/activities and accomplish goals
- Model a collaborative leadership style with the ability to build partnerships and influence others into action
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and consultative approach; tactful in dealing with people at all levels
