Aegis Health Care is currently seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to be part of our Oracle team. Oracle BCC helps post-acute care providers improve their healthcare business to provide high-quality care to their patients. This is a part-time position working approximately 30 hours per week. This job offers the option to work remotely or in our Logan, UT office.

Job Responsibilities:
The Medical Biller is responsible for managing patient accounts including submitting claims and collecting payments.
- Complete billing tasks daily; including submitting claims and following up on unpaid claims

Research, correct, and resubmit rejected, denied, and returned claims timely

Prepare appeals to denied claims

Assist intake staff with insurance questions and research

Submit patient Medical Records request as needed

Maintain a claims report. Report on status frequently to supervisor and administration.

Work with the billing team to resolve common issues and insurance denial trends
Skills & Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Competency with computers, including advanced typing skills and the ability to learn several new computer programs

Two years of experience in medical claims and/or accounts receivable is preferred
