Line Cooks at the Restaurant at Hotel Wailea are responsible for preparing all mis-en-place for their assigned stations and working service. Must have previous line cook experience and preferably a skillset that is able to handle a variety of cooking techniques. Minor butchery skills needed. Teamwork and communication are mandatory and successful candidates must be able to adjust timing of dishes to coincide with other stations. Line cooks will work directly with Sous Chefs and the Chef de Cuisine. Chefs will monitor all work habits and techniques and offer feedback to ensure consistent excellence in quality. Line Cooks are responsible for setting up, breaking down, and cleaning their stations and work areas. All kitchen employees are required to work cleanly, efficiently, and intelligently.
