Wink Eyecare in South Boston is searching for a responsible, honest, smart, and good-natured person to help with front office, clinical care, and optical shop duties, as well as to support our optometrists to ensure the smooth operation of our office.
Primary Responsibilities
The Patient Coordinator and Front Desk Administrator will be responsible for managing patient appointments, assisting optometrists with patient pre-testing, handling administrative tasks such as patient check-in/check-out, insurance verification, maintaining patient records, and helping in the optical as necessary. They will also provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in computer systems and software, including electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or related setting
