The Employment Specialist helps individuals with disabilities obtain appropriate employment in their local community. This includes identifying employment goals, preparing a resume, utilizing appropriate job search methods, properly completing an employment application, preparing for an interview, and helping the client to maintain employment. The Employment Specialist must go into the community and attend networking events to seek jobs for the client in their community.
College degree in psychology, social work, or special education is required or 4 years of work experience working with the special needs population. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Excellent communication and record keeping skills necessary. Sales experience is a plus.
This position is for Broward County so must live in Broward County. Position is home based with travel within the Broward County area.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
